Wedding on The Strand

Since their pre wedding shoot we have been super excited about photographing this wedding, and at the beginning of October the day finally came!! The wedding of Joe and Sarah took place at the beautiful St. Clement Danes on The Strand, followed by a reception at the Charing Cross Hotel.

Sarah kept Joe waiting at the altar but eventually made it through the busy London traffic aboard an old double decker Routemaster, and emerged looking stunning. To say the church was amazing would be an understatement, and after the ceremony the bride and groom braved the rain and stepped out under a Guard of Honour to be greeted by friends and family.

Back at the Charing Cross Hotel, Joe and Sarah were cheered on by crowds of tourists as they posed for pictures on the back of the Routemaster. Meanwhile inside, guests were treated to a drinks reception and swing band before proceeding to afternoon tea and a night of dancing!
