Partying up a Storm at Elstead Mill

Steve and Holly were married last weekend at the gorgeous, Mill at Elstead. They were joined by many friends and family from across the world who braved "Storm Dennis" to share this special day with them. Holly was beautiful in a tea dress which showed off her bright pink heels, and Steve looked dapper in dots!

More and more we are finding that couples prefer to do their wedding their own way, not confined to the restraints of a typical “order of the day”. This makes it so much more personal to them, especially when you can pull in a few favours from talented friends who happen to be cake makers, or even violinists! Steve and Holly met before the ceremony and walked down the aisle together to the sounds of "Africa" by Toto on strings. It was fantastic!!

And what could possibly go down better for entertainment at a pub wedding? A good old fashioned pub quiz of course! The bridal party put together some trivia to see just how much everyone reeeeally knew about the newlyweds. This culminated in a musical chairs style kerfuffle, with guests lunging across the room to find random objects such as a man’s sock or perhaps a Kiwi (not the fruit)!

Although they chose not to do a first dance, this did not matter one bit! The vino was flowing, the tunes were banging, and by the time we left everyone was having a wild time on the dancefloor, filled with air guitars a plenty!
