Helping hands at a Godmersham Park wedding

Allie and Alex were married at this gorgeous wedding in Canterbury which was filled with so many personal touches throughout the day. The ceremony was extra meaningful and also very laid back as it was conducted by a close friend from university who also had some hilarious anecdotes to tell which had the congregation in fits of laughter!

Their reception was held at Godmersham Park where Allie’s Godmother/part time wedding planner had done a stellar job beautifying their marquee and making sure everything went to plan. Everywhere you looked was adorned with hops, fairy lights and foliage. Allie is a very talented calligrapher and used these skills for all the place settings, table plans, signs etc. The intricate cake was absolutely stunning with a basket weave style icing and sugar paste flowers which almost didn’t make it when the family dog had eaten the first batch!

All in all everyone had pulled together to make this special day so incredible for the new Mr and Mrs, and a very memorable one for us too!
