Ethan's Big Day, Burchatts Farm Barn, Guildford

Here at Maybury Photographic we are mostly known for our beautiful wedding photography, however we love being a part of any kind of celebration, big or small!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending Ethan's naming ceremony at Burchatts Farm Barn in Guildford. It was a relaxed, intimate, humanist ceremony conducted by the lovely Ginny Collins. There were readings from two of Ethan's 'guide-parents', followed by readings written by his parents, Laura and Phill. It was emotional to say the least and I was very glad to have the camera to hide behind!

Ethan is such a special little man and it was a big weekend for him. Not only was it his naming ceremony, but he also celebrated his first birthday! There were smiles everywhere I looked, and it was an absolute joy to see him so happy and surrounded by all his friends and family on this very happy day.
